We have just introduced our new shoulder straps in braided, soft feel polyester. They will be available in four colours, Sun Yellow, Sky Blue, Fire Red and Black with a choice of 20 trim colours. The split rings are attached with leather which is glued and stitched through the cord prior to binding.
The following photos show the stages of attaching the end
rings to the polyester cord.
The leather ring retainers are shaped to fit neatly around
the cord end and glued in place.
The next stage is to saddle stitch the retainers to the cord
using a strong waxed thread.
Once the leather ends are secured we proceed to the
binding.
Choose from twenty colour trim options to finish your
strap. Our braided straps can be made in custom
lengths to suit you.
